    Welcome back frasersmum123

My pad today is £14 please MB :T
As of 24th August 2016 total money owed was
    £15,708
  • A double PAD for me today

eBay sales mean I'm back to PAD the VERY LAST £11.40 Payment to Santander... :T that's 9 months ahead of where I'd have cleared it without the MSE forum.

Yay! One down, 4 to go...

Well done LMD! I'm sure that warrants a post on the milestone thread.

Don't answer if you don't want, but I was just wondering what amount you owed originally on the Santander card.

Hi everyone, PAD today of £7.76 to balance transfer card

As you may have realised by the lack of posts lately and the tone of some of my posts, things haven't been easy here lately and it has been nigh on impossible to find the extra money to pad. So over the last week or so I have been doing a bit of a Martin's Money Makeover and have managed to get OH's mobile bill down with new phone - still need to flog off old one - move home phone and broadband from Sky and have just triggered off an energy switch via the Cheap Energy Club so, once all the changes filter through, I should be about £30 a month better off. Some people (not on this site!) might not think this is worth it but seeing as I have no hope of a £30 per month payrise it is definitely worth it for me.

Congrats to LMD as well on killing off that Santander card - the power of PAD in evidence again.

Thank you, what is the milestone thread?

It was at almost £9k at one point, I transferred about half and then I have been at it now for about 18 months, the last £1k or so has been done in the last few months with the help of this thread :)

Hello :) Even though you have found it hard to PAD, you've tried to make changes and it seems you have had success! £30 a month is significant so well done! £360 over the next year! Just need to get that phone flogged now, check reviews of recycling sites before committing, some are dodgier than others.
