Unavailable items at home shopping food deliveries

Sainsburys website isn't linked to the local stores stock control. I think this might be down to the fact you could have delivery from two stores depending on how many orders each store have. For example one of the areas we deliver to is shared with another smaller store, basically to offer customer more time slots. I know this because I'm a Driver. That's why stock isn't live online. Trouble is adding this feature later on is a nightmare for website programmers etc and could cause more problems.

As for charging for subs, Sainsburys don't price match. to be honest other supermarkets price matching are being really unfair to their store customers as they don't get this! If I walk into tesco and the item I want out of stock I wouldn't be allowed a more expensive item at that price. So why should online customers have them? Think Sainsburys policy is fair to all in this case. Most refunds are back in the account within two days usually at the same time it gets taken out.

I have switched from asda to morrisons,
I stopped using asda because as GR says there is so many items unavailable,
yes they might be cheaper but its no good if you have to go out to get whats missing.
so far morrisons have been first class,we dont have a morrisons in our town but they still deliver here,I have had one subsitute since using them,they are on time and in my opinion are really good at home delivery.
