    Giving you the correct answer to your question is not what is usually meant by "trolling": personally I call it being helpful.

    Anyway, tell the person who changed her/his mind that they still have to pay.

    More often than not there aren't.

    You may wish to investigate recovering the APD element of the fare. Although fees might cancel this out.

    And typing 16 hours when you meant 26 may well have been a typo, but how on earth would anybody else know this?

    I think the op has been in a coma for the last 20 years. Apart from expensive flexible fares, the same rules apply to all the cheap fares regardless of airline NO REFUNDS
