I'll be contributing some cash in the near future as this forum has helped to successfully fight off 2 ParkingEye PCN's which friends received for overstaying by 7 minutes.
This might be a daft question, and feel free to ridicule me if so, but why hasn't Parking Prankster ever had his say in these high court appearances?
Pretty sure he'd be more clued up about specific private parking rules and regulations than any old barrister chosen.0 -

But in the Court of Appeal, only a barrister, or a solicitor with higher rights of audience, may address their Learned Lordships.
The legal profession doesn't want any old armchair lawyers or assorted riff-raff cluttering up their courts.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -

Thanks, Bargepole. Makes sense now. I agree other people would know more as well, yourself included. Anyway, good luck :beer:0 -
