good on you for looking on the upside
. Talking about the bronzer and being pale has reminded me of the time I ran out of moisturiser so thought I'd use a sample I found in a magazine I had. I didn't check the label and just whacked it on my face only noticing anything was wrong when my girlfriend arrived and asked if I'd been playing with her fake tan. Sample had a "slight" tanning solution in it and cos I hadn't realised I'd pretty much slapped it all on any old way, so had lines everywhere. My face cracked people up for about 3 days, especially due to the fact I had stubble at the time (yes despite the story I am a guy) and it gave me an orange beard sort of thing which was just not good at all. Wouldn't come off no matter how much I tried. Not really relevant but it might amuse someone.

Hi Bax reassuring to know that it happens to men too!! Thanks it certainly did make me smile!
Right well I've used the head and shoulders and its definately less dark - have to be careful though cause the roots are slightly lighter and really don't want them going bronze while the rest is burgundy/brown - that would be a laugh....not!!
Will keep you posted of any further developments.

Oh wow this has given me the giggles, sorry to laugh at your expense Bax but you put it up there!!
IDA, my eldest DD (15) has been plying on that Johnson stuff that's recently come out. It's half price in Tesco at the moment (although still 3 quid odd!), it's like a moisturiser with a bronzing stuff in it. You can buy fair to medium or medium to dark. Seems to work nicely on my dd.

I can vouch for Johnsons product, I put some on before bed and laid on the bed waiting for hubby to finish in bathroom, I fell asleep and he let me I woke up with orange palms!0

Hi IDA  Hi everyone  - just thought I'd share this little gem. Permed my shoulder length hair two weeks ago but it didn't take and went stringy.
On Sunday thought, nothing on telly bored to death ahhhh stuff it lets have another go....like you do when you're a MSE and feeling invincible right?
The lotion was so strong my thin, brown shoulder length hair has now gone into thick funky dreads ! Get out of bed at 3am to have a hack at it standing on tiptoe in front of the mirror over my bed and I now have chopped hair that stands on end......:rotfl: :rotfl:
The comments in the orrifice on Monday when I walked in were hilarious, I got compared to Jo Brand!!
If I had half her wit I'd be laughing (well I am, sort of....):D

I used the Johnsons stuff in about 1983, when it was quite a new idea and the orange thing was really known. I bought a bottle and sloshed it on my extremely pale arms and legs.
Thank god for ecru coloured tights being the fashion.......I looked like a packet of orange streaky bacon.........however hard I scrubbed my poor legs in the bath......"Stay Wonky":D

Well my MSE ways now means I have long hair to tight to go to the hairdressers trouble is it is slightly curly in a sort of 70's curl way - now if they came back instead of poker straight hair I would be gorgeous from the neck up facing the back lol!0
