if its by post, send the appeal tomorrow morning by first class post, at the POST OFFICE, with free certificate of posting

and don't expect Elite to reply or even acknowledge your appeal (I never got any) but with your proof of posting, you will have your paper trail which you will refer to later.

NOTE- Don't bother with recorded delivery, just send it first class and get proof of postage.

  • my sons reeived another letter from zzps today dated 25th april for tkt issue date 12/2/14. this one is for 172. should he ignore or reply to this one. I sent the last one off to elite management.
Also I really don't know many tickets he had but your threads suggest debt collectors can do nothing only the ppc. So is it common from your experience that the ppcs do chase individuals with court letters or does it rarely happen?

The advice we continue to give you is to ignore debt collector letters, yet you keep asking the same question.

Some PPCs commence court proceedings, ParkingEye issued over 30,000 court papers last year. Elite hasn't been one of them to date, but no one can tell you whether or not they will in the future.

Not sure what more we can say.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • so although this current letter is from zzps I should use tkt number and send a similar as I sent for the last one to elite management?
  • actually on this zzps debt collection letter it says nothing about appealing just about paying up.

There is no procedure as part of the formal process to appeal to a debt collector. I'm not sure how many more ways we can tell you this.

All you can do with a debt collector is either to pay them (which clearly you don't want to do) or take the only other option open to you - IGNORE them.

Nothing else you can do! I can't dress this up any other way!

The only person who's going to be ignored is you for posting a completely unrelated post on an ancient thread. Read the NEWBIES sticky and start your own thread.
