sit back and wait to see if the company involved (the parking company not ZZPS) send him any paperwork relating to a county court appearance , its not a criminal act ,

because of the numbers involved they might just do this.

retain all the found letters from ZZPS and any further ones safely , do not talk or right to ZZPS or any related company

"if" you get CC papers or a letter from the PPC saying THEY ARE taking court action , come back to this posting and you will get help in fighting them .

don't take the car off him because of this , but PLEASE warn him that council and road marking (yellow lines) are a lot harder to fight , and they use proper bailiffs to enforce .

edit: it seems that this company are getting details very quickly (you said tickets --- on his car?) "if" this kicks off , then a request should be made to the DVLA to check that they have collected the info each and every time and not cheated the DVLA out of there blood money
  • i have told but i will continue to do so. basically your saying wait until he gets a count court summons from elite management(im not sure who exacly is the company issuing the pcn as ive not seen the original pcns and neither is my silly son able to tell me! My husband has told him he must pay it because he believes the whole household will be blacklisted if he doesnt. theres pressure from all directions and on top of this im due to sit my higher maths paper in june and supposed to be revising but cannot because im trying to help him.
Your good people out there helping others. I hope you all get rewards due to you throughout your lives.

yes wait for THE ORIGIONAL PPC to try and issue court papers not the debt collectors mistakenly telling you they are ,

your husband is wrong , he has not been found "guilty" (bad but simple choice of word) by any legal entity , until those "charges" are proved to be correct in a civil court he owes nothing ,

if he is found "guilty" (bad choice again) then he will have 28 days to pay , after that a CCJ could be placed on HIM , not you , your husband your dog or your house .

go to the chemists and buy your husband some chill pills , and join him taking them this evening .

a simple answer : "wait until he gets a count court summons from elite management" , no the summons will come from the court , he will be written to , and given one last chance to pay before they apply to the court (the PPC , not ZZPS)

    you wait for either

an LBC (Letter Before Claim) from Elite

or an MCOL from Elite (Money Claim On Line) - ie:- small claims court

you fight back with letters and then maybe a court appearance

if he loses in court he has 28 days to pay the judgment

if he pays the judgment that is the end of it , no other issues , no blacklisting

if he fails to pay the judgment then it goes to CCJ and that is when the blacklisting can start, plus court bailiffs etc

apart from paying the bill in full there is nothing you can do but wait for the full 6 years until the creditor can no longer claim

ignore ZZPS , they can do nothing , its Elite (the creditor), or the landowner themselves who have to initiate the pre-court and court paperwork

there is no magic wand to make it go away, its either pay up or take your chances on court for 6 years , bearing in mind there is a lot of paperwork before it ever gets before a judge actually in the county court and may be settled beforehand

if he wins in court, thats the end of it

6 years has been the standard practice for many , many years for taking people to the small claims court in england and wales (5 in scotland)

could be for a parking invoice or invoices, could be you taking a builder or plumber or electrician to court , or a mobile phone taking your son to court for unpaid contract payments , all kinds of reasons so nothing to do with parking per se

6 years is the statute, so deal with it (whatever the reason or invoice or debt)

resurrect this thread (dont start a new one) if its about the same saga or topic

start a new thread if you have a different issue, say a parking ticket at aldi with Parking Eye for example

so one topic , one thread

    hope that helps

ps:- nobody can tell you what the final bill may be, pointless speculating on it right now , it will be what it will be , be it £50 or £5000 (or £780)

    Hi stressed222,

First of all, don't live up to your name and relax a little.

I took on 4 tickets from Elite Management on behalf of my neighbour. I think the totals came to about £900 after every Tom, !!!!!! & Hassall tagged their bill on the initial PCN.

As Redx has already said they aren't elite and in my experience they aren't very good at management either. We replied to each PCN and repeatedly asked for an appeal but they never offered any at any stage.

Just by using the stickies, taking time to fully understand all the information and following the sage advice offered by those in the know we beat all the tickets 4 - 0.

Ignore the involvement of ZZPS (or any other of their guises, they all share the same address with Elite) and even if solicitors get involved it's still no reason to panic.

Don't phone them again and even if they phone you, just state that you know wish all future correspondence to be through the mail. Make sure you have proof of postage for everything you send.

Take a step back, deep breath and start assembling your defences. Good luck.
I don't like morning people. Or mornings. Or people.

Calm down, most of us here have ignored a debt collector letter chain or three, they normally fizzle out after a year. Yes they threaten court. No it doesn't often happen but do open each letter to check it's nothing different than the examples that are already here on hundreds of threads just like yours. No-one pays!

If your husband wants him to pay, your husband is setting a terrible example of someone who falls for scams. Please get the whole family to start again at the top of this thread and re-read all the advice you've been given.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
