Hi
I bought a big bottle of Tesco non-bio fabric softener, but it seems to aggravate OH's skin, so I have a huge bottle that I can't use now and was wondering if there is any other good uses for it. I would imagine it'd leave a residue and wouldn't really clean things, but was wondering if anyone had any ideas? i don't really want to just throw it away!
Thanks

To reduce the build-up of static on a television screen, apply fabric conditioner and buff dry.
It may be time to invest in 60" PLASMA if you have a large bottle of fabric cleaner

I had a friend who used to condition her hair with fabric softner. Her hair was always shiny, healthy looking and very soft. You could give this ago then you wont have to buy hair conditioner for a few months : )

My hairdresser does this too... one cap full to a large conditioner bottle. Wouldn't use it neat...
Could you swap it with someone else for something? Might as well if someone else can use itDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

i use mine on my telly works wonders
i also put a cap full into a water squirting bottle and then fill with water and spray all over my carpet and then use an old towel to wipe over it brings it up with a lovely fresher smell. be careful on the stairs though as you dont want to use too much fabric conditioner then slip on a shiny stair.Still TryingGrocery challenge July 2016

Thanks for this, what a fascinating website. I was also going to mention the hair conditioner. During the war in Zimbabwe people couldn't get hair conditioner so used fabric softener (yes, I know that sounds a bit Marie Antoinette-ish, but it's true!).0 -
Thats a good website - thanks
Didn't realise fabric conditioner could be used for all these different jobs around the house.

If you use tumble dryer softening sheets such as Bounce, they can also be used to clean your TV and computer monitor (after they've been through the tumble dryer, that is). You may need to damp them slightly first. Buff up with a soft cloth afterwards. If we are supposed to be thin, why does chocolate exist?0
