Is this the greatest private plate ever?

I have mentioned on previous threads regarding plates, that when I had my garage business, selling vans, my registration was VAN580Y.
It's no longer on a vehicle, but on retention, doesn't mean much to me these days, but I do have a couple of others, which are family names. Again, no interest to others really, but just a little more personalising, of the vehicle, as personal plates do.

There was an American car I saw on a website - middle aged blonde in a M-B coupe bearing MERC4BJ.butterfly72 wrote: »I was behind 69 BJ last week. Did have a giggle. If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0 -
Ah, well, the US get around all these ridiculous attempts at trying to make our rigid numbering scheme read names and words by allowing you to just have what you want, for a small fee.0

Couldn't agree more.
The cameras nowadays are so sophisticated, it didn't stop my son from receiving a speeding ticket through the post even though his private plate has incorrect spacing.
It's just that civil servants have to have their rules and regulations, otherwise they wouldn't have a job. Just like there is now a proliferation of markings telling you which lane you have to be in when approaching a roundabout, unlike it past times when you selected the lane which got you over the roundabout in the easiest way. Now we have to have queues in one lane whilst other lanes remain empty."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
I'm not a fan, it should be mandated that all owners of personalised plates must throw them in the bin and replace them with TW4T
I much prefer a proper plate showing the registration year so that when I get a new one I can look down on the peasants for 6 months until I become one myself
There used to be a Merc sports in Blackburn area, driven by a white haired old lady, reg. was T4WTU, didn't make sense unless it was behind you and you read it in your mirror.
Plate has been withdrawn now I think.0 -

No, it's on a Mercedes 320CLK now.
MARIO1 must have been MAR 101 in reality. Not the worst transgression in the world.0 -
