Lovely house. Are you sure it was built in 1926? It has a Victorian style. Does it have cavity walls? I can't quite see the brick pattern on my phone.
I would snap this up if it was the right location for me!0 -
Thanks. It does have cavity walls, and the age is right.
You are right about the style...victorian building patterns had just reached here in 1926 I think!!0 -
Beautiful house and I want it.
The kitchen is beautiful, a real selling point to me. Maybe a better picture of the whole thing though if possible.
I really am tempted by it!0 -
Aw thanks.
A better pic of the front?
I will try to do that myself...agent is less than dynamic.0 -

I could be wrong, Alchemilla, but I think loveka meant a better picture of the whole kitchen
I know that when we were selling our last house in 2014 it was fairly difficult - even for the professional photographer employed by our EA - to get a full pic of our kitchen, a dual aspect room of some 36', but they persevered until they had a couple we were all happy with!Mortgage-free for fourteen years!

Looks better! The kitchen still requires a bit of flicking through photos and the floor plan to work it out but it's a LOT easier to do that now than it was before thanks to the new photos.
I would suggest that the hall picture (#5) isn't particularly attractive; the first thing I noticed was the bit of the grey floor that doesn't match the colourful tiling, and the brickwork to the left hand side of the door which looks a bit shabby in the pic. I'm not sure that this pic adds anything to the listing.
Also I notice the upstairs hallway is still masquerading as a study
Overall, big improvements though.0
