Maybe I'm one of the few who's met David in real life and I have to say that he is a 100% genuinely nice guy. A smashing bloke with a quick and dry sense of humour. He would help anyone. I work with families in crisis and his willingness to help anyone extended to them too.....not only people on this site.:A

The thread wouldn't be the same without him. We need more posters not fewer. Too many good posters have just disappeared:o

    Diversity:T

I've had 2 occasions when I have pm'ed posters to ask them to remove a comment. Not for my benefit, I just knew it could unwittingly upset another poster. And it was done graciously as no malice was intended:A
I've also been asked to remove a post and I did it. We all know how tricky the written word can be:o

Surely that's the best way....then .......if you hit a brick wall report it. Speaking to someone privately, resolves the matter much more quickly and leads to less distress all round. Plus we all know how precarious the existence of this thread can be......do we really need to be giving the forum team unnecessary work?

Good morning everybody, I hope you are well and have peaceful, lovely Sunday.

    Happy shopping.

FC I am sorry to hear what is happening with your knee. I hope the procedure is painless and you make a quick recovery.

David. I love your sense of humour and you have made me giggle several times.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

    :)

Well today is the day my sisters & I are taking a road trip to Surrey to 'surprise' my Mother for her 80th birthday :)

Unfortunately as I posted before I accidentally let her know :o:o:o by asking her if she wanted jam jars bought down.....

So hoping my Mother has rehearsed her 'surprised' face when she opens the door today :rotfl:

    Mornin' one and all.
I've not seen anyone mention, but Gold Bars are usually in the 2 for £2 on biscuits, but I can't see them on MSM or A.com.
If they are instore, when purchased with a 6pk Medley box maybe they will compare £1.89 v £1.00 (£1.00 in M & T says MSM on old and new versions)
Not a great glitch if it works but will mean 1 pack of gold bars and 1 box of Medley for about 45p a pack/box (I think)
    The end is nigh

    Good morning elite,

Sadly surprised to read that David is reported for some of his posts, I don't know him from Adam but have quickly grasped his sense of humour. Guess some peeps have too much time on their hands.

    Have a good day all.
