Bed for me too. Was up at the crack of dawn, well maybe not quite that early, to take Mr TS to the train station. Vision is starting to blur and not even had any wine.

    Goodnight Elite. :A

I am aware of that, but it is a rarity. I know batteries can cause various problems, but then so can originals if they develop a problem.

Oh, and one other problem. Sony no longer do computers and the link they have put on the site for spares leads to a company that only seem to deal with trade! I really do not want to mess about opening up a trade account with them.

Interesting conversation in the pub tonight, they have just released the new figures for average life expectancy, and I quote......
According to the latest official figures, a baby boy born in the wealthiest area, Belgravia in London, has a life expectancy of 91.
However, one born in Stockton-on-Tees will, on average, die at 67
    :eek::eek::eek::eek::(

    Edit to add:
Only a dozen Tube stops separate Mayfair and West Ham, but there is a 21 year drop in life expectancy between these two neighbourhoods.
Living with Poverty: Mind the Gap is broadcast on Wednesday, 22 May at 23:05 BST on BBC One London and nationwide on the iPlayer for seven days thereafter.

I wasn't going to post this because I have no wish to bring people down :o

But my conscience tells me.i should because if it makes one person realise they have a problem.....

For my whole life I have had what I considered a freckle on my knee. I lived with it. last year sometime it started swelling up. I'm talking half the size of a petite pois here, it was that small. I ignored it, thinking I'd got a thorn stuck in it in the garden or something. I know that foreign bodies work their way out eventually.

I even ignored it when it started to get sensitive when my jeans were rubbing in it and causing mild pain. About three weeks ago I picked up a flexi tub full of washing and it caught the tiny lump and it was carnage  it bled PROFUSELY I was worried and went to the doc.

Long story short. it is a melanoma.

I've been to a consultant this week and have a date to get it removed. it's progressed enough that I have to have lymph nodes in my groin checked as well ( I know .....how drastic to get my groin felt :o) but I've hopefully caught it early enough.

if you have lumps and bumps you are unsure about....get them checked. I never expected what has happened this week.

no out pouringings of grief please. just check your lumps :p

FC positive thoughts winging their way to you sweetheart, such a small thing that most of us would like you overlook, thinking it's nothing. Quite frightening when we find out that rather than being a small thing it becomes our focus.
Yes we all need to take more care of ourselves and learn to read our bodies and keep checking.
As I said, positive thoughts to you and a big squidgy H7g x

You know I cant even reply to you what I want to because some boring person is going to report me yet again

You know what I think as we have already spoke about this :kisses3:

Just so people know have been reported 3 times at least in the last fortnight or so once for a post to ilgd that she laughed about, once for the post about a woman on the beach wearing a burka  and once for a post to fc :p So on a yellow card now and fully expect a red by Tuesday

Someone is out to get me banned and they are going to succeed

I just don't get it David, why someone would want to waste their time, and that of the mse team on reporting someone. Small minded they must be if they can't see the humour behind your words. Shame on them.
Huggies and positive thoughts to you also David
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Fc sorry to hear this and as you say these sort of things should not be left to chance.A friend of mine has had 3 of these Cancers removed and was told by the Doctor he is seeing a lot of Ladies of my age with this type of cancer due to over indulgence of sunbathing with no protection:eek: in the Sixties so take care in the sunshine and make sure you wear your Sun protection.
