Another number to add to your blocked numbers list

    08001456526

The caller said she was from Golden Charter and she was selling pre payment funeral plans
I said there is no one dead here.

    Reported to the TPS

Yesterday we had the windows IT help desk ring about the viruses on my computer. I asked the caller how to switch the computer on as I didn't know how to. He asked who the computer belonged to. I said it was my OHs who was doing 25 to life for murdering an IT technician that kept ringing him.
The caller was giggling at this stage but he did say he would ring back at the weekend when my OH was going to be home :rotfl:

Another fun weekend in your house then :rotfl:

Is your OH ready for a day release? Do you have a contingency plan if he gets stressed by it all and wants to go home early? I would imagine the normal level of chaos might be a bit of a shock to the system for anyone :D

They reckon it'll do him good and from what I've seen this week, I'm happy to have him here for the day. It will certainly be good for the kids. The place he's in is very nice and the staff are great but it's still not ideal having to take the kids there.

I have the local crisis team on speed dial should I need them and of course if he wanted to leave early then he can, but I'm confident it'll be fine. They will be bringing him here and picking him up again. He's well settled on the mixture of medication that he's taking and he seems a lot less stressy on it. I mentioned earlier in the week that he's taken up running again too which seems to have had a really positive effect on him.

    We will see....

also just noticed that Alba have a couple of new trials if anyone is interested

one for moist toilet wipes open to both men and women
and also an 2 week eye cream trial for women

ta for this - The eye cream looks good but I have not taken up the offer of the moist loo paper :rotfl:
They sent me one about baby wipes yesterday

I put my name down for the last facial wipes one about 2 weeks ago but didn't get selected  Even more annoying as I have just finished a packet of Loreal age recital ones (I think we had a coupon for these??? ) and the ones I am using now are a bit rough so I've got to turn the stash out in search of nicer ones.

    Hi All,
Many thanks for the tread. I'm lurker. Well done all on weight loss.
Has someone tried Fairy WUL 630ml apple orchard to order for CC or HD? I can only find Apple and lime on a.com?
Will it compare £1.60 to £1 in W?

This sounds really good and that they will bring him and take him back again makes a big difference - much less for everyone to fret about.
Your gang are going to be so excited :j

The running is a very good positive sign - 2 of my gang run and find it very calming, things slot into place when you are running. Eldest child has only been running for about 8 months - she is the very worst stress monkey ever and she now runs 3 or 4 times a week and she finds it makes a vast difference.

Off to get my shopping. I have a £14 odd APG to spend from the garnier shampoo/conditioner glitch a while back. In fact I have a big perfume one from last week too but I don't think I'll push my luck :o

    Have a good afternoon all

mhoc, in someways I'm reading about 'us' and ds3 from about 7, 8, 9 years ago.
He has always been bright , did very well at school, kept a tidy bedroom unlike ds4.

our first holiday away without the boys was rather worrying though because ds3 had a problem with doors  Fridge or freezer door may or may not get closed properly. When going out I have always drilled into boys to take their keys withthem and remember to lock up. We have in the past found his keys in the lock on the outside of the door, sometimes locked sometimes not

Thankfully since he bought his own home he has changed and no more door problems. Now ds4 has problems locking Himself out and has on occassions had to sleep in the conservatory  :rotfl::rotfl: Good job its warm in there with comfy chairs and cushions

I am just hoping that eventually there is an end to it - that he eventually gets his act together but its been going on now for at least 10 years - the only respite we got when when he was posted abroad and he was then only home when he was on leave and only then sporadically.

In January he came back to the UK and he was on leave for about 3 weeks (but away for most of that time) We had a few days booked at Center Parcs and originally he was supposed to come with us - I told him quite frankly I didn't trust him and he was not responsible but he insisted that he was changed and as he was now 25 he was now a responsible person.
But he was adamant so he stayed home with the cats - I think I was more worried about the cats than the house. He found the cats to be very demanding and attention seeking :D but he coped and all was fine.

And then we go away for 2 days (fortunately cats were in the cattery this time) and come back to find the front windows wide open ...

I was on a very long trial over 3 months - a 2 part night cream but that came finally came to an end and nothing since except for the very skinky serum which I got a small reaction to so I was off that trail - I hope this has not branded me ineligible for others now ...
