Maybe you should show off your new cooking skills. :p

Calling them skills is pushing it :rotfl::rotfl: I've stuck to simple stuff this week. There's been enough stress flying around without me making it worse :o :rotfl:

And FC would you believe me if I said he was American. :rotfl:

 Well don't let my negative experience put you off. I'm sure there are some nice Americans :D Will this be the first time you've met him?

Both me and you know it does take a certain skill to do a bad job of cooking. :rotfl:

Maybe when the kids tell him he will feel sorry for them and no chains will be needed. ;)

The Jack Monroe cook books are good for simple no fuss meals - also she has a blog so its worth checking for recipes there :D

    Good morning

My long weekend has started early :j enough time to go shopping before the kids get home.

I seem to have the new As site everywhere now as well. I had bookmarked the old site but the page won't load now. If I use a search engine it takes me to the new site on all browsers, even on incognito.

Off to see DS1 in a concert tonight. I'm looking forward to it. I don't often get to see him perform. He's coming home with me afterwards for the weekend.

OH is coming for a full day on Sunday. Would it be cruel of me to chain him to the cooker and have him batch cook a months supply of dinners? :o :rotfl:

Another fun weekend in your house then :rotfl:

Is your OH ready for a day release? Do you have a contingency plan if he gets stressed by it all and wants to go home early? I would imagine the normal level of chaos might be a bit of a shock to the system for anyone :D
