On the UHT shop:(, they bought so badly (IMO) that Waities were cheaper. So the UHTs didn't even count for anything.

And buying Pepsi locked in at a price way in excess of what I'd ever consider is generally not a good idea, due to the risk of it comparing vs even worse £1.98 (unbelievable that people even pay that or that that's probably its RRP) at any one competitor half the time. However, on this occasion, it works out okay (on a womble) vs Waities.

It's the Homepride (98p vs £1.59) and the Vimto (£1.98 vs £3.50) that stops the shop comparing best vs Morries. The Pepsi in fact doesn't lose there as they both compare vs £1 each. Unbelievable how much people pay for yogurts sometimes. The Activia at £2! They were 92p in Waities some time ago (and 94p I believe in A). Is that inflation again? Are we supposed to be 0%? I make it we've got to multiply by almost 2.13 in order to go from 94p (and that's the A price not the old, lower W price) to £2. Is that 213%? Or am I really old and not been to a school maths class for decades? Far away from 0% increase in any event!

The Homepride is also currently £1.59 for T. They were some at quite low price in T before, and much lower than 98p price. Those cereal bars - "good and counted" eh? Certainly seem to be counting up a lot in the final bill:eek:. And, while I'm not suggesting they are bad, who's decided that they are "good"?

    Thanks Tweets.

I've voted for others in the past, I know it's an uncommon thing here, and I'm not usually one to ask for anything like this. However, I've invested a ton of cash to get the best web designers in the biz to create a super hot site. So to get recognition in this competition for my efforts would be amazing!

    So thank you! :D

Voted for you hun. Best of luck in your endeavours.

Wahoo! it worked. Ok this is not on the same scale as what sfsb, deedee, or Evangeline bring us, but it is something.
The Lime Green Domestos Total blast is an invisible trigger in the 2 for £2 cleaning promo. I bought Harpic Power plus and this compared 1.98 v 99p at M...hope that helps someone.

    Oh well done juju

Hi everyone, sorry I've been MIA for a fair while, just busy life stuff.

Anyway I'm just shooting in to warn folk who got the pizza express token codes in the flash sale recently.....they run out tomorrow!!
I've just printed mine off to use tonight after a walk to Durdle Door, its glorious down here on the south coast(albeit windy!)

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but thought it best to give the heads up as I've just discovered it!!

Think I got a bit carried away in the pizza express sale(lol). Had to eat there on Monday and tonight. Anybody going there don't forget to print out your customer comments before you go and printing out your vouchers for free dough balls/garlic bread. You dont need a code for this! Can't imagine who would choose to go to pizza express without tesco vouchers so expensive and not very special in my opinion.

In my m&s toilet cleaner, anti-bac cleaner and washing up liquid all rtc at 50p. HTH someone.
Free range eggs now good A v T as filler for 89p just seen advert on telly.

Don't worry Anon, I think I have seen what you have so you are not losing the plot, really..:rotfl:

From what I recall, the first 6 Mullers scan on SS to total £3. After this Muller 7 brings the total up by 25p to £3.25 (although surely it should be by 68p as that is what one Muller costs?), Muller 8 by 25p to £3.50, Muller 9 by 25p to £3.75 and finally Muller 10 by 25p to £4. Surely the till should increase the balance by 68p each time until the 10 for £4 offer is met, not just by 25p each time?

I believe your point is that if you buy 9, the screen will show £3.75, exactly what happens when you press the FINISH button? Will you be charged the £3.75 showing on the screen or will it be 6 for £3 + 3 @ 68p = £5.04?

Also, how will the apg see the comparison?

I think there are too many geeks on this thread Anon, people like you and I (and Munqui and Evangeline and aau1 and loads of others) who analyse things to a crazy level..:rotfl:

    Nutters the lot of you:D

    C&C from lunchtime today,

Now I don't know if it is just me but I thought that the Fairy liquitabs were just a good comparison v Waities and as the OH gets itchy with lots of soap powders I stick to Fairy non bio. It turns out I was charged £4 on my C&C but MSM showing £6.70 V 3 for £10 at W. Has that been the case all along and I just missed it?
