For anyone buying AMEX giftcards to use up conditional spends, I've found Mr.T petrol stations are happy to take them. Should also be fine in Mr.T stores, but the SA I chose wasn't sure how to do it so I didn't bother.

VT take it steady with the sorting, it's good that you have your family helping.

So are we nearer solving the Muller Multi Mystery?

I have been this evening and noted the following multi behaviour on the self scan discount:

    6 Muller - £1.08
    7 Muller - £1.51
    8 Muller - £1.94
    9 Muller - £2.37
    10 Muller - £2.80

Total after 9 Mullers (plus fillers) was £5.15 and after 10 Mullers (plus fillers) £5.40.

So it would have been possible to check out at 9 Muller but with the 10th only adding on an additional 25p.

Does that help? I think it still works out at 15.6p each so nothing gained but mystery solved.

  • Evening all.

Been stood up this evening so it's a night in front of the lappy with youtube on for me. Might even see if I can get my head round what's happening glitch wise, before I turn into a complete newbie :rotfl:

Oh VT....you sound exhausted:o it's all so emotionally draining isn't it. I know how it feels. The smells, the memories, the photographs....it takes you right back doesn't it.

Would you like to share a bottle of wine with me before bed?

Thanks TM do you mind if I mix a bit of lemonade in as wine gives me a hangover.
Yes, physically exhausted as well so fibre and RA flare up.
Not getting to go home until Tuesday as needed to cover 2 nursery morning runs.

Dgd was thrilled with her pre loved bike. Just needs a good clean really and they grow out of things so quickly. Her best bike is a T's £12.50 one.

Called into m and s garage on way back to hotel to get tea and hit whoopsies. Not mega cheap but over 50% off and could not be bothered with eating in beefeater attached to hotel tonight.

Sister is starting to open up a bit more now. She has been ok clearing out cupboards as leaves house looking the same but has hit her that some furniture is going so house will look different and feel more final. We have decided to keep front lounge as it is now until last minute so at least somewhere feels the same.

So glad she has told me her worries so we could make the decisions together. She is also suffering the usual regrets (wish I had visited more sort of things) but dad told everyone how wonderful she had been through the whole thing but not her. His way was saving his pudding at tea time for her to have on her daily visit:A A generation and family background that lacked the ability to show emotion in words or hugs but did it by actions instead.

Next 2 weekends off as she feels she has neglected her own house and of course has to find somewhere to store the 4 big boxes of family history we bought back today. She is a real angel and I am enjoying reconnecting with her again.
