Can i post a photo from Instagram to one of my posts?

I am wondering if its possible to post a photo that i have on Instagram into one of my posts on MSE?

I dont mean a link, but the actual photo?

Just click the insert image icon at the top of the box you type the post in and put a direct link to the pic is the usual method......Don't use instagram so don't know what type of link you get for an image.

I'm also trying to post images - screenshots, saved as pictures. When I click on insert image, it asks for the URL starting http://
but pictures don't have a URL, so how do 'put a direct link to the pic in' please.

Pictures do have a URL if you have uploaded them to a site such as those mentioned in post#4.

OK, but I haven't uploaded them to any site.

Is it not possible to post a screenshot on here without first uploading it somewhere else?
