Did you survive the windy weather?

I do wonder what will be the legal position if some of it comes down on my conservatory in a storm.
I'm puzzled. Why are you still wondering about that?

You were advised of your legal position when you asked on one of your earlier threads.

Do you not think to live and let live what happens one day when you need scaffolding does he object are you not being slightly petty is it damaging your property .
I too would talk to them but its not going to last long but I cant understand why its lasting so long it dont take 6 weeks to reroof do not engage a solicitor they live on paranoia they will escalate and cost money they love stuff like this do you get £200 hour I dont but seen lots spend a fortune wasted solicitor bills .
We have lots building work done on property's but I talk to neighbors so we don't get to this some times you make lots noise or disturb people but its temp and not long term so some how can you repair or refurbish a property with out little disturbance , as I said one day it will be your work so just try and put up with it unless they are taking the mick .

Well it is over 3 months now and no sign of scaffolding coming down but I am about to have a new patio built and scaffolding is about to impact my contractors access (it is bolted onto my house along side passage at about 5 ft 6inches from ground over top of party wall.)

I spoke to neighbour's wife who said he is in dispute about the work at present but even so I should have thought the scaffolders would be sub contracted to the company building loft and doing roofing and they would have wanted it back by now!

Just demand it is taken down immediately. Contact the scaffolding company directly and demand they remove their property from your land.
Let the neighbour argue with his contractors all he wants. Get your patio done .
Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.

I can't believe this is still going on. Just write to the neighbors & the scaffolding company that you need this removed by xyz date as it will infringe your own workmen & if it isn't, your crew will take it down & dump it out on the neighbors front yard to be collected. Disclaimer "can't be responsible for any damage to the scaffolding during dismantling blah...."
I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.
