Good job the scaffolding was there to stop the window frame smashing your conservatory, wasn't it?Doozergirl wrote: »I really cannot see the need for thread after thread on this. It's really not that exciting. Go and find the site manager, ask them to protect the conservatory roof again and stop going on about it to us. It might be causing anxiety, but the anxiety is increased by not just dealing with it like an adult.0 -
That is a stupid comment - the window frame was on the roof lying around in a storm because the builders were careless and left it there. It was only good fortune that the scaffolding caught it.
I sometimes think some people come on here just to enjoy sneering at other people's problems which is not what the forum is for. I was seeking the benefit of other people's experience not snide comments.0 -

Interesting, but nothing anyone here can help you with.0 -
Impressive length, quidsy. I haven't read it. You're engaging yourself in another battle. This whole thread is far too long so I'll bow out.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

littlrock . can you get access . do you need access . the scaffold is there for a reason . How do you know what snails pace is . I would hate to be in your town not just next door . Grow up and let these people improve the price of your property . hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0

I haven't read this thread, but have you asked for a copy of their professional indemnity insurance certificate? That should put them on noticeChanging the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

Just to say the scaffolding is still there and there has been no one working on it for six weeks and apparently my neighbour is now in dispute with the loft builders. (It has now been up and obstructing my side access for over 3 months.) Severe windy weather forecast in next few days. I do wonder what will be the legal position if some of it comes down on my conservatory in a storm.0

it's been there for another 6 weeks and it's still not fallen on your conservatory!?

Legal position is you will probs have to claim of your insurance and your insurance will claim off their insurance. If the scaff has been up and unused for 6 weeks what have you said to the next door & Next doior said to you about it .? hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0
