HMRC Repayment Pending

I have submitted mine on the 6th requested repayment on the 9th and on 10 was in pending.
I have called them last week and told I am going thru the extra security checks and should receive them by 18 May.
I sent two messages online asking what is going on and on the first one they said that I will receive the money in 3 weeks.
On the second reply to my message which was yesterday it said the status is "transmitted" and that I will receive them in maximum 2 weeks.
Finally this morning when I checked they have been issued and the date of today 28/04/2015.
Usually it goes in the following working day as it is a matter of the banks now.
Like I said in previous posts I have sent for some friends as well and the latest date who got paid today is 21/04/2015.
My wait is over but unfortunately some of you still have to wait. So all I could say to you is good luck.

Hi everyone!

Well i finally had a reply! They told me that my payment was processed on the 16th of April and will take 3 weeks to reach me. Has anyone had a message back like this? Am i being to optimistic to think that the LONG wait is nearly over?

Sorry if this is not on the right thread but it is tax related. Basically I am on PAYE and with having an issue with p45 was told I would get any tax back at end of year. I was fine with this.

I went to the gov.uk web site and it said that if I have my p60 details that I could go through a verify site and send online. Is this a genuine way to do it as I always have written in the past and am worried it might be a scam site.

Can anyone advise?

Any one got a contact number as one I rang is automated message stating they have a 5week backlog and cannot answer or deal with enquiries till 29th May...


Just logged on my account and the site was all scrambled saying 0% of return complete, and lots highlighted in red... when going on account it shows submitted and received looks like mine is in the bundle of those with the system error.

Still pending hubby rang twice yesterday and they accidentally hung up on him both times before they could be useful

Still pending! Submitted 7/4 requested payment 9/4 I have emailed previously to be told mine is going through security checks but this is just ridiculous now so have emailed again this morning.

Hi just a recap on yesterday. My rebate was cancelled and they have amended it by taking my NI class 4 off. It has gone back to pending today with a smaller amount

Yes I have been hung up on twice too after holding an hour each time, I wanted to cry !!!!
