You have to request your payment Danny that's what their website says, or call them mate.

Hi there I have been watching this for weeks now and also in the same boat I filled my return 6th April and requested 8th and been pending since then 27th last update it's highly frustrating and can imagine it is for you lot to as Hmrc do not give a straight answer and every time u ring they give complete different reasons !!!

Submitted 15th does it take longer when your getting paid by cheque ??? Surely should be further than pending ???

They still got backlog due to system errors from 6th there's those who submitted on 6th onwards still waiting I did mine on 13th and hoping they starting to issue. Mines still pending will see if tomorrow has better news for us all.

Same boat mate although all 4 times in contacting them they have said it's undergoing security checks to help prevent fraud, still stating if if is not in my account by the 8th May call up, so basically I'm guessing regardless of your actions they'll still make you wait untill there ready, highly frustrating tho, I did however receive my N.I. Bill last week on Monday, yet still pending so I don't think that has anything to do with our repayments.

To make Sure your expenses don't seem ridiculous and that what you've earned and what tax you've paid seems legit.
