  • anybody know what allocated to "not yet used" means?

    submitted my return on the 6th

    Note: If you make a payment greater than your outstanding liability or at a time when there is no outstanding liability, the excess amount has no liability against which it can be allocated. The excess is called an Unallocated payment shown as 'not yet used'.

    To look at details of a specific payment or credit please click on the amount of the item you want to view.



    Got that off the hrmc website, but I don't really understand what it means sorry
  • Woke up for a wee. Still pending but still " As of 24th of April"

    Unallocated payment? Try clicking on the payments section on the left hand side menu or ask a question in relation to it? Maybe able to help but it just sounds like unused to me personally, just a guess tho. Sorry.

    Just checked mine......... now has today's date on, not pending anymore.
    I submitted it on the 7th n requested it on the 8th.
    It stayed pending till today
    I called poly twice and got told I was globe thru security, n the other I was told it's because of computer up dates. Saturday I git a ni bill,
    I dunno when it's gona show tho.,

    I'm so grateful to everyone thst shared info ect, but hoping it's now sorted n this nightmare is over
  • Submitted on the 13th, amended on the 14th. Waited patiently as normally takes 2 weeks to go through. Today it's cleared and is no longer pending And updated to the 27th. Hope you all get good news soon.

  • I would ring HMRC and ask what needs to be done Or what it means.
