HMRC Repayment Pending

Ok it's second day on this thread and i see that those who called in with "Date-Pending; Description-Bank repayment pending", were told its under security checks. I have a feeling they can't be asked to explain to each one of us about system software updates etc..Because otherwise there's ridiculous pattern that everyone is under security checks..

I emailed the Director General of Personal Taxation at HMRC complaining about my situation and that of everybody else on here. I have just received a response saying that action is being taken by the team responsible and I will receive a response from them.

Please keep us updated with regard to this if you don't mind. Didn't realise there was such access to this email address as I would have probably sent a one sooner. Very good thinking, hope to hear some good news soon

Is it any wonder that people indulge in aggressive tax avoidance when this is the way that HMRC behaves when it is the one that owes money?

how many of us been told security checks ??? apart from me and how did they tell you told me on the phone specialist team doing it ? any ideas I am curious to know how many on here in my boat with me lol that's sinking

I was told that to the latter, them exact words. I was also asked not to call again, I don't think so !!!!!!!!!!!

Me , after telling me last weds it was being processed on the phone, then emailed Friday as I was told to get back in touch if it didn't hit the bank. Emailed Friday not sure when they replied as it doesn't have a date on to be told under security checks
