HMRC Repayment Pending

Just rung them , they said they have been given new guidance as of today that any repayments due from the 7th are all delayed due to system update. They said that they should all be up & running by the 20/04-21/04. Then they will deal with the backlog. Unless u have been selected for checks like myself supposedly . We shall c . Keep updating people

Hubby has said they have got you all ways (I will not repeat how he said it) you call them different answer every time makes you wonder if they have a check list of different excuses that they tick off each time you call, let's face it if we all took this long to get a job done would we still have jobs, it is a total joke and not a funny one.

How does it take 14 days to ammend software ? What a load of guidance rubbish !! (not you sammyw) at least they are now admitting fault after worrying ppl with random security check crap all last week. Cheers for the update folks x

Why do they only have 2 payout days also ? Get it paid out every day then the backlog will turn into progression a lot quicker

Exactly if there is such a backlog work extra hours like the rest of us have too, they could also work bank holidays ha ha.

Apparantly im under security check will write to me by 18th if not sorted in mean time i havent a clue what security checks they do they said its a specialist team that deals with it and they cant spk to them ??? Anybody else any info

Lol i just phoned them, a woman answered, didnt seem to have a clue just said it being security checked and she couldnt tell me any more. What a complete joke!!!!

Hi all I'm in the same boat submitted on the 7th I've just come of the phone and they told me it should be with me by the 25th so none the wiser really dnt think anyone knows what's going on

I've been told the same thing as u , tbh I don't think they know what the hell they r talking about. I really am !!!!ed off now. If u rang back now they would probley tell u something different x
