Well with you saying this and the other guy who's friend works their, seams like we should all be gettin it this week with it changing tomorrow to issued, I hope so.

I'll check tomorrow morning and keep you updated even when I receive mine.

I like the positivity however if they have a backlog i doubt if they'll be processed to 'issued' overnight.if there has been a software update we might get paid twice

we are all in hardship and short on funds 24/7 so don't sweat it even more just because you're owed money

Just rang hmrc they've changed the automated message to processing tax returns then the automated message asked when I'd last contacted which was the 10th of April to which it replied it is currently taking 5 weeks to process repayments and not to call back until May 5th as advisors can't help and then cut me off absolutely disgusting for a government service especially with a general election coming up you'd think they'd at least give us updates on the website

The security check can also be to check that a revenue employee is not fraudulently issuing repayments to friends and family.

Just rung & was told that my payment was due to be issued the 10th but was picked up for SECURITY CHECKS on the 15th. I filed on the 6th. Last week they said it was picked up for checks on the 10th. I'm fumeing now, do they know anything on that helpline ..... Never ever in 15 years known the likes of this .

Not good is it I'm not hopeful at all
