does anybody actually know what the security checks are, is it actually checking your return for errors / fraud or is it to check you are who you say you are?

a security check is a where the computer checks your information against what it already has ie date of birth address its not what it sounds like everybody who does a return has to go through this

i dont no if any one else noticed but every year on the 6th of april if you try and log in to your account it says down for planned matenence this year me as well as a lot of other people were allowed to log on and file our returns the problem being it didnt have the maitenence work carried out that is where the system failed

so, I filled my sa in on the 7th, but then made an amendment on the 14th. Will I have to wait another couple of weeks for mine now, or will it be ready this week??? thanks in advance

the maxium they can hold it is 4 weeks. so if you ammended it it will start over as its been resubmitted then but i would think they will all start being paid this week

I was going to file mine at midnight on the 6th, but it said it was down until 3AM for planned maintenance. I filed late on the 6th and requested payment early on the 8th whats the chances of getting mine this week, when i rang last wednesday they said within a week so fingers crossed! Lets hope we all log in to HMRC tomorrow and see it's changed eh! :A

I have a good feeling all of ours will turn to ISSUED at 6am tomorrow. I'll be logging on to see, have a good feeling tho guys
