we were told 18th may and then 28th may during the same telephone conversation, just stalling tactics I fear. Pity they can't give us a straight answer. Had they said from the start 'it won't be in your bank until 1st July' at least you'd know where you were, instead of all this worrying and counting on money that may or may not be with you any time soon! :mad:

Did get told the issues were tech glitches from 6th to 13th hope all gets sorted for everyone.

I just called, after being put on hold for over an hour, was told that they are carrying out checks on the claim and payment would be made before 20th May !!

Requested repayment on 10th April and still pending spoke to someone on the 1st May, she said should be payed shortly if not give them a call on the 5th, so sent them a message on hmrc website today and got this reply

Thank you for your online enquiry. We are carrying out routine security checks on your repayment. Your repayment will be issued once these security checks are complete. I have advised the team dealing with your repayment that you have contacted us. It can take up to 4 weeks from today for these checks to be completed. Once issued your repayment should reach you within three weeks of this date.!

Reading this thread and from my own experience what I think is a joke is just how inconsistent the answers are!! , ok they had system problems and got a back log but why can't they determine a date when this should be dealt with and all read from the same script!!

What an absolute fu#king joke the people behind the repayments are! Iv been pending from April 6th! If I ever end up owing them money they can fu#k right off! I am in desperate need of this cash which is OWED to me. I am owed £3000, yet it's different when the shoe is on the other foot. Complete joke of a system!

Is there anyone who has been told was having security checks who has actually received their money as yet? And if so did they make an amendment to there return. I feel like ours are all lost in the Burmuda triangle right now. #stillpending
