I slept much better so am feeling much better today, thanks Narco and glad you had such a good day. ? for you, when you are at the uni working what do you do about parking?

DH is going to paint over all the filled bits of walls today so that will be another job done, need to have another think about the wood around the fireplace.

I also want to get all the pots chairs etc back on the dried patio and sun deck today and I am cleaning the bathroom first thing.

Well the WM is on, the dishes are done, the dog has been walked, I've counted some leaflets out into 30s and the meat's in the oven for dinner. Now I'd better get back to my paperwork.

Just a quick read of thread between cooking and showering!
I buy a staff season ticket for parking, otherwise it's about £2 per day. They have various levels of staff season tickets depending on your rank and hours.

All yesterday's laundry has been ironed. I have done more today (bedding and towels) and they are blowing on the line. I have also ploughed through my mending list and 3 items have been dealt with.
Bathroom and kitchen have been fully cleaned and I am now attacking schoolwork. :T Off to mum's later, for tea, then taking DD to Uni.:(
:o to my shame I found some gift wrap under the sofa (which HAS been moved and vacuumed under recently, honest). It was from Christmas:o It must have been wedged or trapped, somehow.

    Hi All

I have been MIA on line, but not in real life and even better DH is on board.

The house is looking the best it has for quite some time.

    Kitchen/Diner

Ceiling painted, dining end painted, curtains taken down and washed.

    Windows cleaned inside and out.

Kitchen has been blitzed, appliances that don't get used regularly have been moved to the utility room. Worktop and tiling edges resealed with fresh mastic. Worktop wooden edging rubbed down and re-stained.

Dining room blitzed, new chairs ordered as those we have are several years past their best.

    Lounge

Decluttered, hoovered, dusted, windows cleaned inside and out

Mirrors and all glass surfaces gleaming

    Master Bedroom

    Bedroom blitzed

Wardrobes decluttered, sorted out clothes sent to CS

    Carpet cleaned

Wallpaper and paint bought ready to decorate

    New curtains made

    New rug bought

    Spare Bedroom

    Blitzed, decluttered

    Windows, mirrors all gleaming

    Loft, yes honestly

Decluttered, stuff taken to the tip, stuff we had long forgotten about

Next jobs are to re-tile the bathroom and ensuite floor, paint the ceilings, re-seal where needed

    Hope everyone is well

    All the best
    Gilly x

Wow, Gilly, what a lot you've done! Where are my sunglasses?

Yesterday I did very little until 9 pm, apart from WMx2 hung outside to dry, and cooked a curry for our evening meal. Plenty of zzz, though - hadn't realised that I was so tired!

Today I am feeling better, have achieved a tiny bit of paperwork and done some filing, been to church, cooked a roast dinner at lunchtime, went to visit my friend, and am now drinking a cuppa before the church AGM this evening.

Even before Dusty starts the new thread, my "to do" list for the coming week is already one side of A4 :(

Piggers, I hope your RSI calms down quick.

See you all on the new thread x
