Hope Mr Frizzle has had a happy birthday!

I've had a brilliant day at the WDYTYA show, finding ways of hunting down my errant ancestors and meeting up with Froddington and Jazee for a very pleasant chat over lunch and again over afternoon tea :j Thank you for suggesting the meet, Froddy :T and thank you for coming Jazee :T It made me want to meet up again with other Flyladies that I haven't seen for a while - you know who you are!

Came home to find the DH had stayed in for the window cleaner and paid him :A but had forgotten to mow the lawn :(
DH went out at 7 pm, leaving me to eat my meal on my own. It looked as if we might get some rain , and the air went decidedly chillier, but as it was still light I decided that I had time and energy to mow the lawn, so that is now done and I can concentrate on weeding and putting in a few plants tomorrow.

Other than that, the house is still tidy, and DH had washed up after his meals :D

Well done on your long walk, JTTOU. I have walked a couple of miles today, but not all in one go.

Dusty, may your BD puppy go as quickly as he came. I hope your DS1 has had time to think about Plan B and your DS3 gets a better night's sleep tonight, both of which will help you to relax.

Sorry your f/t work didn't last longer, mrs-mp, but I'm sure you're quite happy that you will have more time for crafting, especially with DHS to knit for :)

Bossy, the thought of you getting in the kids' wardrobes makes me wonder if you are teaching them how to play sardines :rotfl:

LW, hope your paws are less painful today. How did you get on with your gardening?

Hope everyone has a good weekend. (((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round as needed.

It was a great day, wasn't it? I have been going through all the info I got and making a list of things I need to do to follow up some of it!

Lovely to see you again and to me Jazee :D

And, yes, there is definitely a need for more meets - maybe London next?

Froddy I'm up for a London meet, sad I couldn't make today but funds and easter holidays made it not the right time.

Application done and sent. I'm not actually bothered now if I hear or not. At least I have a CV and covering letter ready to quickly adapt for jobs in September which is my preferred time to apply.

Time for bed now, tough with a kitten on your lap! Who knows I may even fly tomorrow!

It made me smile to be able to wish my new cousin a happy birthday for the first time on facebook today.

Ionafan, thanks DS1 seems calmer now but still unsure about what to do. BD maybe due to B12/iron deficiency so back on the supplements and awaiting blood results. Glad you had a good day.

Not done a lot tonight apart from fold all the washing off the line and put the dw in. I will finish off last few bits tomorrow with a few other bits that have been bugging me!

    Left to do....

    S and s the toilets!
    Tidy up utility room.
    Tidy up study.
Pack another two boxes in the garage.
    Wm x 2
    Empty dw
Get all the lego boxes down from the loft. I have about 25 boxes up there and it has been decided to bag all of his lego up into individual bags and put them in the boxes so when he gets to the new house he can rebuild all of them again, rather than trying to transport them already built and losing all the pieces!

Twinkling Thursday - Living pit, hallway, stairs!!
    Vacuum/mop Hall
Degrot the under stair space/cupboard.. You know you want to!!

Funky Friday - Brats rooms, spare rooms or wherever!
    Vacuum floor
    Deweb, dust and destickify

Off to bed shortly. Night all x

    Hiya everyone :hello:

Lynne how is your recovery coming along?
Foot is starting to feel a bit better thank you. Of course foot and lower leg all beautiful shades of black, blue and yellow and toes black. Most of swelling gone down as well. Was told only five minutes walking about at any time - loo and cups of tea - absolutely no standing still nor sitting down without foot up until Monday !!

So made a good start on the filing today. Have decided to put 2014/2015 back into ring binders, sectioned and in date order. These binders will go onto middle shelves and added to as needed. Once over seven years then can be de-personalised and chucked.

Then each subject will be sorted into date order, split into years, tied with string and put into box files. These can then stack up on the very top shelf in case ever needed again. Each year I can then just add another year into each box.

Hope you all have a super Saturday and (hugs) sticks and spoons there if you want some

    Morning all

Aargh another morning of waking early, still tired but unable to sleep so I'm downstairs having a cuppa with 3 out of 4 mogs.

This weekend I need to fly, garden, shop, visit my mother, check DS3 is ready for school on Monday, just need to oomph.

Morning all. I'll join you in that cuppa Dusty.
Got two on the settee, DS1 and a friend when to see an orchestra playing music from the Zelda games yesterday, they got back early hours so I imagine they'll be sleeping till lunch.
Today got shopping, DD2 will be round with DGS so we are popping over to see DD1 as she's not had a chance to meet him yet.
Want to sort out some more stuff for the CS but don't think I'll get a chance to take it this week.
Need to read through jolly phonics and do a bit more makaton and sort my time sheets out for last week.
Everywhere looks reasonably tidy but want to S&S through and run the dyson round at some point
Hope everyone has a good weekend, hugs healing vibes sticks and spoons where needed.

Morning everyone. The skip from the building work finally got taken away last night. Was glad as it meant I could close my gates. The council put new led street lights up over a week ago and they have not worked since. I've reported them a few times and so has half the street.

Today I want to hoover through and catch up a bit. Then I'm off to a Geneology Project with information for them.

First though it's breakfast before I start. Ginger ninja has already been fed.
