It's very quiet on here this morning.

Well I've sorted some bits out in my kitchen and thrown a load of stuff away. I've sorted out the cupboard with the cereals in and the drawers with packet stuff in so now I'm going to sort my spices shelf out and my tins' cupboard and see where I go from there. WM is on its second load and the washing is on the line.

Just stopped for a quick coffee. Progress so far:
    [STRIKE]ice cake[/STRIKE]
    vacuum downstairs
retrieve bin from front of house after collection
    [STRIKE]empty kitchen compost[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]put plants outside greenhouse for hardening off[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]wipe over anything in kitchen which needs it after icing[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]put dw on[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]do flower arrangement for mum's room and lounge[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]check meal plan for next (manic) 4 days and see what needs to come out of the freezer[/STRIKE]

I've also been through a small pile of paper, swept the kitchen floor, done a couple of surveys and mopped a couple of areas.
Time for a quick and final room inspection, anything else on the list I can do in time, quick bite to eat then a shower. Need to leave home about 2.15 to get to uni before mum's bus does!

Dusty you have nothing to lose by applying. If you aren't sure whether you want the job, it often makes for a more relaxed interview. I applied to my previous college just out of nosiness as I wanted to see what it was like, was sure they didn't want my peculiar mix of qualifications and experience - yet I ended up working there for 10yrs mostly happily.

Narco and JJ thanks, I will apply and just see what happens, thanks.

    WM1 on the line
    Hand washing done
    Washing up done

Been to Mr As with DS3, no suitable clothes so will order a couple of bits online for him and pop to another town tomorrow.

I'll just get some bits done on here then pop to dump a load of stuff at the scrap store and visit the cricket shop.

Also want to pot up some seedlings when I get back, we could do with some rain in the SE :p

    Hello everyone!
We are home. Well, we were home last night but I was sooo tired after getting the littlies to bed, I almost fell asleep in the bath
So I went straight to bed myself.
This morning I've unpacked and sorted laundry, dropped littlies at school club and been to @ldi and Mr S to stock the pitiful fridge.
So WM on its 3rd load, and I'm just having a brew. I've mopped the kitchen floor - didn't have time before we left so was rather grubby.

So for the rest of this week I shall be sorting clothes, the small people are less small than they were, so wardrobes will be edited (again), and I have lots of holiday washing and going back to school / work ironing to sort.

Holiday was just lovely we all wanted to stay, in fact the kiddies want to live there :D - fabulous hotel, food, pools, entertainment, room etc etc, much fun had by all.

I've read a little back but I'm sure I've missed loads - so hugs all round from the bossy household :grouphug:

I managed to get the cake made yesterday - I decided on cherry'n'coconut in the end; I know Mr LW really likes that.;)

Spiders are building without planning permission again; I seem to be spending inordinate amounts of time deconstructing their efforts.

Mr LW has kindly said he'll pop into @ldi on his way home tonight; we need milk, so I said would he also get the other couple of bits we could do with while he's there.:A

I'm going to try for a HHG (that's Half Hour Gardening, for the benefit of new Flyers not yet familiar with our abbreviations) - it'll only be in the back garden, so no chance of being accosted by neighbours, but even so, I'm still scared to be outside alone, so wish me luck.:o

Well, the home inspection that started my new interest in Flylady has been and gone: the inspector was disgusted with the state the lazy letting agents have let the place get into (two years and five months since a leak started mould growing and plaster crumbling, and they still haven't done anything about the damage ), but also picked up on the dirty kitchen ceiling, which I didn't have time to sort out yesterday. Just typical that that's about the only thing he noticed!

Now that's out of the way it's time to start flying properly so, from today's list:

    Level One
Declutter the floors! - mostly done yesterday, but I'll sort out the shoe pile in the bedroom when I get home from work*
    Vacuum/mop floors & stairs! - done yesterday :j
    Level Two
Dust over all the electrical appliances.. be careful though I don't want any accidents! - will do this evening
    Extras
Wipe and water the plants - done this morning as the cat's water bowl needed cleaning and refilling (I use her leftover water on the houseplants - very thrifty :A)
Clean out the pets - done this morning after mogtastic covered her 'doings' with such enthusiasm that most of the cat litter ended up on the floor <sigh>

*Err... yes, I'm still at work and on the forum. :o

Plus one batch of towels put in the WM when I popped home for the inspection at lunchtime; it will be done when I get home and I'll put on a small batch of underwear as I'm on my last clean pairs. :o Also put out another bag-full of recycling.

Dusty - I'd say go for it! I applied for a job I wasn't certain about and, although I didn't get it, the CV writing and interview were really good practice.
Back after a very long break!
