Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone audio book for 40p a couple of weeks ago.
On ebay as a BIN of £25, bought within 15 mins of listing so a nice £18.25 profit (Gloat) after fees and posting.0 -

Wow that's a nice return, 40p is a steal for the paperback book version, let alone the audiobook. :T:starmod: Looking for the lucky dust :starmod:

If you're happy to buy second hand clothes, then clothing tends to be incredibly cheap at car boot sales.
I tried selling at a few car boot sales but the incredibly low prices that the public expected for my stuff just made it feel like I was giving away good quality items for nothing.0 -

Same as above - have an inkling it's on the old Hotpoint site but not sure. It's 20 minutes from us (Bangor):TIn deep...0 -
An hour and a half of walking around... and I came back with a red bandana for £1 from one of the market type stalls. Felt too shy to ask about a price on a set of boots body butters, so missed out on them... so not so good this week

Oww I agree, clothes always seem to sell for next to nothing 20p for a top that looks brand new, 50p for a pair of jeans, my wardrobe is mostly carboot and charity shop finds. Also shoes, i've bought countless shoes that look unworn for just a few pounds each, it's great for a shoeaholic
However I also agree with you about selling items, I hate being pounced on when I open the boot and the shouts of any gold, and phones etc. I do tend to stick to my guns about prices even though people expect things for pennies. Most of the stuff I tried to sell was brand new unwanted gifts/ duplicates, yet people still made such faces when you said you wanted 50p or £1. I much prefer to go as a buyer now, less stressful all round.
