Really impressed with Kwik-fit

It very much depends on the branch. Some of them try to make up work that needs doing. Some of them don't.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

I was initially happy with KwikFit as they appeared to be run by an honest manager at my local branch and regularly used their services. On last occasion this year the manager had moved on and they tried to rip me off by charging me for work that was not quoted. I kicked up and initially got a refund on the work that they did which was not quoted. Shame really as I am now in the band who will also never use them again.0

C'mon tell us how much K-F paid you to leave a nice review on MSE!.stephenliverpool1 wrote: »Hi all,
I posted a previous thread with regards driving my car without a valid MOT due to a family bereavement.
Anyway I need to compliment Kwik-fit. Really impressed with them as they passed my MOT without any probs. Over the last few years, I have got my car serviced and MOT'd at F1 Autotocentres. I am now considering to move my custom to Kwik-Fit.0 -
The lad over the road worked for them as a "mechanic" between his last job of pallet salvage and paint mixing.
He could not even put the chain on his back wheel after mending a puncture without help.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -

Yes that is exactly the problem with these fast fit places. They have a regular turnover of school dropouts and its luck whether you get one of them or a more experienced mechanic. Just jacking up the car can do a lot of damage if it is not done right.0 -
I've had both good and bad experiences with Kwik Fit. Mostly bad to be fair.0

Fixed my car exhaust all wrong. Would not go back there. Took it into ATS and they diagnosed the faulty repair (Kwikfit had somehow installed it upside down...) Would never go back there.0
