Really impressed with Kwik-fit

Hi all,

I posted a previous thread with regards driving my car without a valid MOT due to a family bereavement.

Anyway I need to compliment Kwik-fit. Really impressed with them as they passed my MOT without any probs. Over the last few years, I have got my car serviced and MOT'd at F1 Autotocentres. I am now considering to move my custom to Kwik-Fit.

Would you have been so pleased with them had they failed it? That's teh real test of whether they were more than competent.

TBH F1 Auto centres are just as bad as Kwik Fit and Halfords (where i had my worst experience)

I don't see how passing a car for MOT is any indication of good service ... might just be they didn't check it properly.

    [probably just a loss-leader]

Or they looked up the reg number and realised it had never been to KF before so passed it and gave the customer a wonderful experience..

Then next year the customer returns for the next MOT and KF get some money out of them..

They get a lot of stick on here but they've been find whenever I've used them. Except once when I had a headlight replaced and it failed within about two days.
