quick update on the situation. template appeal letter has been sent, still waiting on reply from smart for that. today i received another letter from DRP saying they intend to take me to court if i don't pay. Can someone give me some advice on this please. Getting slightly worried now

Stop worrying - DRP can do nothing of the sort - it's just meaningless debt collector drivel.

Ignore DRP as the case is under appeal.

Write again to the PPC and tell them that while you are waiting for an appeal the matter is in dispute and ask them to forward the information on to DRP. Reiterate your request for an appeal and refer to your initial letter and the proof of postage that you have.

Don't worry about anything, so far it's all standard procedure.

Yes include a copy of the letter - go to P.Office and get free certificate of posting.

Also have you tried complaining to Asda yet?

Could go in person and ask to speak to the manager otherwise see post 6 of NEWBIES and click successful complaints..... then go to post #2 (#1 all about parking eye) for examples of complaints to Asda.

Personally I wouldn't include the original window ticket as hopefully you sent in an appeal to Smart as registered keeper and your letter to Asda should also be from the keeper

i sent the appeal letter as the registered keeper and i included a copy of both the ticket showing it had been paid and the window ticket
