Have you made an application to HSBC to become a Direct Debit Originator?0 -
For starters, do you even have a business account with HSBC?
In any case, I think that unless you are a large company HSBC are unlikely to be able to help you with collecting Direct Debits.
A Direct Debit Bureau might help you with your needs.0 -

For the UK it would probably be the EISCD:

I assume other countries have their equivalent.43580 -
Surely you should be discussing this with your Relationship Manager at HSBC so that they can find out the information you require from the relevant specialist department in the bank?0

No, of course not. Fortunately I was smart enough that I didn't limit myself based on such decision whether or not to be approved. For starters, do you even have a business account with HSBC?
Not in HSBC particularly. Here I have 3 personal ones. Since ISO20022 works with both personal and business (both joint [more than one individual's name on name of Account Holder] and not joint [One]), I shouldn't worry about this. For the UK
No such files, related to pain.008 and pain.001 there at all but im looking for the rest of 33 sepa countries also, not just those four countries within UK.Surely you should be discussing this with your Relationship Manager at HSBC so that they can find out the information you require from the relevant specialist department in the bank?
I did exactly this. In the branch and SEVERAL times on phone call. Never received any help. Most common answers were like:
"We don't have feature where you could upload files to us."
"I have never heard for XML banking files"
"Don't know ISO20022"
"What is pain.008 and pain.001"
and so on...0 -

Then apply to become a DD originator.

Until you are approved as a DD originator, you are wasting your time fussing about file formats. You need to be an approved DD originator to be able to upload files to you bank.ConfusedOne0 wrote: ».Not in HSBC particularly. Here I have 3 personal ones. I would. You need to be a business, and have a business account, to be a DD originator.0 -
Use a service like https://gocardless.com/0

Even if you put together a valid file, and even if you found a way to upload them to your bank they would refuse to process them without you having a direct debit originator identification number- and they do not hand those out to anyone who just asks for one.0

HSBC's own documentation refers you to the iso20022 website:43580
