I need 1GB of data, around 15min of calls and less than 30 sms per month, which is the minimum I could pay for these? Is there a calculator or something?

There is, but Cisco doesn't appear to have used it :)

Also Virgin Big Data & texts would be £10, though you'd ve buiklding up a decent balance of approx £6.50 per month.

I am interested in that, but I am not sure if I understood correctly, do you mean that I will spend only 6.5 per month?

    excellent find!
I think it's the cheapest as it will be about 7-8 pounds per month for my usage!

Always assuming that you can get a decent EE 3G signal in your required area, as that's the network they run on. The cheapest tariff is of no consequence if you have no signal...

true, I have the best signal with Lycamobile so far
I tried an EE payg data sim and the performance was abysmal
anyway, I ordered a free sim to check

Sorry for the delay in replying. The Virgin tariff quoted will give you 1Gb of data and unlimited texts, providing you top up £10monthly. Calls will cost you 35ppm, which will reduce your credit by £3.50.
