Ryanair Online Check In

I have two separate bookings with Ryanair, one to Spain & one return.
Just been online to check in & paid () £10.99 to book an allocated seat for the outbound flight all as expected.
Then logged out & logged back in again to check in for the inbound flight expecting to pay again for an allocated seat but just allocated a seat with no charge !!
Have I missed something somewhere ??
Why no charge for the inbound seat ??
If it matters outbound flight April 13th inbound flight April 23rd.

From ryanairs t&c's
Customers who do not wish to select and purchase their preferred allocated seat, can check-in online between 7 days and 2 hours before each booked flight and will be allocated a seat free of charge.
So if you had checked in on, or after, the 16th it would have saved you £10.99Live each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -
Scrub that if you paid 10.99 it appears you have selected a premium seat
Premium Seats from £/€ 10.99 - Rows 1-5 (rapid exit), rows 16 & 17 (extra leg room) and rows 32 & 33. Premium Seats include Priority Boarding. Passengers who have purchased Priority Boarding will not be asked to place their cabin bag in the aircraft hold, unless necessary due to operational reasons.
Regular Seats from £/€5.99 – All other seats (rows 6-15 and rows 18-31). Regular Seats may be upgraded to include Priority Boarding from £/€2.99 per person/per flight.
Allocated seat fees are non-refundable except as provided in Articles 4.2, 10.2, 10.3 and 10.4
Customers who do not wish to select and purchase their preferred allocated seat, can check-in online between 7 days and 2 hours before each booked flight and will be allocated a seat free of charge.

I didn't think you could even check in for your flight on the 23rd?
Isn't this exactly what all the hoo haa has been about, not being able to check in until 7 days before your flight and having to find somewhere to print boarding passes while on holiday because you can't print them off before you go? Or have they now changed that?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Guessing its your return that cost you the 10.99 charge (23rd april flight) as its outside the 7 days.... to avoid the charge on your return you could have checked in either in resort or i use the ryanair app which gets away from having to find a printer. The futures bright the future is Ginger0

Nope they were completely separate bookings so nothing to do with each other.
I was NOT charged for an allocated seat on the inbound flight.
It was NOT a return flight.0
