Now the hot water is back on you'll have to have a really long, hot bath...in fact why not have one every day till you leave? Make sure you use her shampoo and bubble bath.0

Hmm. I can't agree with the petty acts suggested by various posters. They may be tonque in cheek but........
Surely the OP wants as peaceful a life as possible in his last month. Acts of venegence will only lead to further bust ups."If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken

Exactly this, there's a big part of me that would love to retaliate with childish games but as you say it will ultimately lead to chaos.
It's also very apparent that she could make things harder for me than I could make them for her.
EDIT: Does anyone know if her turning off electricity and hot water is breaching any of my rights as a lodger?0 -

As the electricity "tripped" and was turned back on as soon as she was aware then no issue. You wont be able to prove otherwise.0 -
Just stay there for the rest of the month and totally ignore her. Live in your room but for cooking/washing etc..., which as much as possible try to do when she is not around. If she knocks on your door, ignore her. If she is likely to enter any way, put one of those cheap lock 9no keys or anything) from the inside of your room to lock yourself in. You can remove when you go.0

Just wondering...
Is the property rented or owned by the owner? If rented, where is he/she renting from? The council/LA?
Are they subletting to the woman?0 -

She's renting privately off a guy that I've never met. He has given her permission to let out one of the rooms since she lives alone in a 2 bed flat.0 -

I think that is the best option, and so far that is my plan, but I don't think I'm allowed to put a lock on the door so I'll have to put up with her entering my room at will and screaming at me

I think I'd have to put a lock on the door for my own peace of mind - behaviour like hers would have me scared to go to sleep at night.....

I've been in this position and left. I tried to put up with it for a couple of weeks but it wasn't worth it.
I did later go via small claims though as had over 1k I could've lost.0
