Refurbed Iphone 5?

I've been looking online and it seems that you can pick up an apple certified refurbed iphone 5 for like 299 quid, on average. Some places £269.

This to me seems like a good deal because they are meant to be in mint condition with no scratches, or that's what i gather?

I think the inner core of the phone is the same but they change the outside or something?

Are they ok?

800mhz band 20 4g is the biggie missing from the iPhone 5. So no 4g from O2 and voda, and reduced 4g from Ee and three

Apple have the best and widest variety of apps though, so i think it will have to be an apple 5. I'm not buying a 6 and 600 squid.

I want it for business use so all i need is banking, some supplier apps and to be able to surf the net and taking pics etc.

It looks like a good phone. Just don't want to pay full price.

Yeah an Iphone 5 is still a good phone.

It very similar to a 5C but not as cheap looking.

I assume they come with a warranty

Says one year warranty with them.

It looks like a good phone.

I had one of the first iphones and was impressed with it. This is basically for business use though to be honest which is why it appeal to me more than android devices because apple seem to have the best apps. I don't even think my bank has an android app but they have apple.

The only things missing from an iPhone 5 are TouchID and 4G bands for o2, Vodafone and to a point EE/Three (as mentioned by another OP).

I used to have one of them when I was on EE and 4G was in it's infancy and 4G speeds were very good back then.

There's an argos round by me. Will probably order it for click and collect and then brace myself for all the up-sell junk like store cards and extra insurance :D

Tesco were doing a similar deal if that's easier for you. I had one from there a couple of months back and it looked like new.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

They are still on Tesco Direct as of 6.45am; £269 for 16GB or £299 for 32GB.
