I've still had no reply from either the ISA team or the general "customercare" support, so I've decided to transfer the funds to another provider. Unfortunately, since all the ISA details are online in the account I'm locked out of, it looks like I'll have to pay through the nose for them to unlock my access again - but it will be the last time.

PS - I was advised that there is NO sort code associated with my Virgin money ISA and there is nothing on my account to suggest otherwise. There is no sort code of Post Office ISAs either...
  • I really wish I had of listened to people on this forum before opening an ISA online with the Post Office.. My bank is also Halifax and so they could not verify my details and so I have no access to my transfer money. The money in my old isa has been transferred and now closed, presumably gone into the Post Office one, but I've somehow been locked out of my account and so now I have no idea where my money is or have any access to it..

I'm not looking forward to getting my bank statement certified by a Post Office employee either due to the issue someone else had on here with that..

Never again will I open any PO product

I deeply regret going with PO and lesson learnt too, never to go with them. my money is trapped with them I have been unable to touch it best part of a month. I can't transfer money to me new Satander account as it requires a sort code. I now have to go into town to try and get PO money transferred to them Satander.

Got a secure message earlier this evening saying that my bank statement had been verified. The money has also been transferred successfully. So it has worked out for me at least.

How long did it take to transfer your account to the PO? I've transferred from Halifax which has closed the account there but no funds are available on PO account. I've tried sending them a secure message but have received no response.
    Cheers

8 days from opening the account. I think they have 15 days to transfer according to the banking guidelines.
