I am passing Stansted Airport tomorrow afternoon, so will stop off and try one of the Moneycorp machines in the check-in area. I know they dispense Euros as I previously saw a friend use on to obtain a poor FX rate previously.
I will have N&P Visa Debit, Metro MasterCard Debit and Halifax Clarity in hand, so will try them all. I need about $400 and €200 for upcoming trips, so the cash will be handy anyway.0 -

But the MoneyCorp machines were great. They offer USD and Euros. You get a choice - you can choose to be billed in GBP (at the rip off rate) or in USD/EUROs.
This is great if you need USD/Euro in the UK or wish to obtain before travelling.
Looks like it was not always this way

I am still waiting to have a confirmation of the launch of the Travelex Supercard. I start thinking it was a marketing hoax. Too good to be true!0

They can't enforce DCC when using Visa / MasterCard but LINK has no such rules as it's essentially a Pound Sterling network.
They will be making a profit as they will be getting the Visa or MasterCard interchange fee just like an overseas bank would.I agree that there is no way that Money Corp will allow you to withdraw money without making profit though conversion. But here there might be an IT glitch/loophole in a few of their cash machines that could be identified that let people to withdraw foreign currency without involving DCC.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I am not quite sure about this. But as per my previous post I tried the Raphael Bank cash machine in one of the tube station in London. The only way I could withdraw Euro is using their own rate, no other option available. There is no way I could withdraw foreign currency without this conversion. A colleague of mine has tried it as well, same results. Having said that I have been using Raphael cash machines all the time to withdraw £.
Also from ChattyChappy post #1 confirms about this for TRAVELEX ATMs in Heathrow.
At the moment we just heard that only some MoneyCorp cash machines allow withdrawal of foreign cash without conversion. Even they get a small fee from Visa I do not think this margin will cover their operational cost of doing this.0 -
Apparently the Travelex Supercard will be rolled out soon:

Yesterday I was able to check again about using the N&P Visa debit card in the MoneyCorp ATMs at Stansted. There are about 15 airside and landside. None of the ones I tried gave the options of proceeding with or without conversion with my N&P card, the only choice was to accept the MoneyCorp rate (1.2088) or cancel. My Halifax, Clarity Mastercard worked well in any machine, giving the chance to proceed without conversion and get the Mastercard rate. I don't have a Metro card to try.Evolution, not revolution0

Thanks. Good finding eDicky.
It seems someone from Moneycorp is monitoring this forum and try to fix their IT glitch.
They managed to fix the IT glitch for the Card with Visa logo but it seems they have not managed to fix the card with Master Logo.
I think the key here is hat if there an option to proceed without DCC then go ahead if not, then cancel it.0 -

I disagree, don't think they have "fixed" anything. The Halifax Clarity card does not have Link (in all UK machines my card uses MasterCard only) so they have to comply with the MasterCard rules, which require a choice to be given for DCC. Would be interesting to try a Visa credit card.0
