    Phew!

    Good. In fact, very good.

However, please don't leave it at that. No smoke without fire, and all that. I admit that I am a dreadful hypochondriac, but I'd be following this up. Urgently!

(((HUGS))) Maggie! Thinking of you both, and I do hope DH gets home very soon.

    bugslet I love that wallpaper!

It's wonderful. I'm really tempted, but I can't find the price per roll. Will all the NPs be recognisable by having a bit of that in their home, somewhere?

I do think it's a bit unfair for the National Archives to charge for stuff that you can walk in and see/read for free.

I can walk in and read Joseph's Will for free .... or pay £3.30 to download it to my PC.

It is strange. If you want to download it, does somebody have to go to the paper archives and scan it for you?

Why do I get the feeling that you are going to uncover riches and end up a millionaire?

I think it was £175 ... so I won't be having a piece of that on the wall.

It's not so bad really. It's not something you would cover the entire room in I suspect.

    You can spend £30 - £50 a sq m on tiles.

How exciting that it is in the National rather than the county Archives. Doesn't that mean he had property in more than one county?

The richest person in OH's family is childless (which probably explains why they are the richest). However they do have 4 cats lined up to inherit all their worldly goods. Local cats homes will be queuing up to adopt the orphaned !!!!! cats, I just hope they realise that said cats are used to their own bedrooms and en-suites.
