    Happy (belated) birthday, Mas!

Any Nice Peeps been to Vegas and can advise on things to see/do outside the city? Within driving distance - for a day trip. Been looking at Hoover Dam/Lake Mead, Red Rock Canyon. Nice? Other ideas?

Hoover Dam is meant to be a good trip. We saw it from a plane and it looked worthy of a visit.

You could drive to the airport and fly to the south rim of the Grand Canyon?

Hoover Dam is a good place to visit, only a short drive from LV

We stopped there on our way from Scottsdale (Az) via the Grand Canyon (the road SR 93 went right over the Dam) to LV.

Henderson was a nice City to visit, and pretty close.

There are probably 2 weeks worth of things to do inside the City as well....

Caesars Palace..............they have people walking about dressed as Roman soldiers

Treasure Island...............they have a sea battle in a lake outside

CircusCircus..................a Circus in a Hotel  and a huge indoor theme park

New York New York.............a Roller Coaster around the outside of the Hotel....in a yellow cab

Stratosphere................you have GOT to do that ride

............err and that's just the first 4 days.

Question. If you'd had a boss like sadistic boss how much would you price your silence on your relationship with him for?

I think if I was proactively offered money in that situation I would probably accept it but unlikely to try to leverage it in any way to get more. That said I have never had a sadistic boss so I don't genuinely know how I would act.

There are a number of establishments of interest to "gentlemen" which are not on the main strip. I assume that is what you mean by "outside the city".
