it is awfully quiet on here, I guess it may be connected toseveral NP having sadly interesting times.
I had a busy day (for me). OH and I drove up to London , easy journey very quiet, parked on a meter in saville row, then OH went to Austin Reed and bought a couple of suits, we were all done by 11.30, had lunch went to Fortnums and then home by 3pm afterwhich we did some village shopping and then sat in the garden drinking wine.
DD and bf arrived home about 7pm and OH made pizza for supper.
My first trip to London since my stroke, but I coped OK as it was all so quiet and easy.Going again on Thursday, we are staying overnight and going to RoH to see Don Giovanni , We have booked for dinner beforehand and will have pud and coffee in the interval.
I have been a bit cross with OH, he booked all this to celebrate my birthday, it is costing a lot and will be a long demanding day for me. It now transpires that he will only get back from quebec Thurs morning. He is a really mild mannered man but is always grumpy when jet lagged, so I am annoyed that we have full on expensive treat scheduled for when it is likely he will be miserable. He will get home about 9.30, DD is taking the day off and she and I are out for breakfast. I will get in aout 11 and then OH & I will catch a train to waterloo to get to our hotel and check in. Dinner is booked for 5.30pm so a bit of a rush and no long periods when Mr S can catch up on sleep. Friday morning we are going to Borough Market:T.
My present is an overnight trip to the Cotentin the following week. I have enough stuff and love the food markets and pottering about, so would rather have time out with OH than a "gift". I am more looking forward to this simple trip than the "celebration". i admit I am an ungrateful moo.0 -

Quiet here because of epic amounts of weeding done this afternoon( with no obvious impact).
I posted this on green fingered.

Gosh Chewy they look so BIG! Never ceases to amaze me how fast little babies grow up and get big. And after that grow fast intellectually at an amazing speed. Fab photo, thanks so much for sharing.
Hugs to you and your family from Liverpool.0 -

Been back to the new cocktail place
Before that treated my friend to a Groupon meal out that I'd forgotten was about to expire at a local Greek place. Was great fun. There was Greek music and dancing and what looked like a Greek hen do. Then 'dragged' my friend for yummy cocktails, and she started to feed me ideas of what I could do with my house. Might need to spend less money on cocktails and win more lotteries but plenty to think about... 0 -

Things are very different now! They had pretty bad reflux but now that appears sorted out and they are almost sleeping through the night now - they regularly sleep from about 8pm to 5am which means that we are both almost functional human beings again. It's a lot easier when they are smiling at you instead of screaming then vomiting in your lap.0 -
Beautiful photo, they both look so contented. Plus as others have said, way bigger.
I'm glad you are getting your normal sleeping patterns back. Long may it remain that way.
Twins are fascinating. Do they get anxious when you separate them, or get upset when you are caring for the other one, say feeding? Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
