The anti bacterial hand washes are no more effective than a normal soap, the main thing is washing your hands properly.
It has been proven many times and its all just scare tactics (as with many products).
Just buy whichever soap you like (be it smell, consistency etc) and be happy.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

Where becomes the point you are not? You won't touch the same nozzle on the liquid soap? The same doorknobs? Light switches. Tend the injury of a family member or friend?
Yes. I share soap. I put my pants in the same wash as theirs too. I clean door knobs and light switches, not obsessively, but regularly. And we wash hands. As Percy mentions, few wash hands well. I don't wash my hands as if 'scrubbing up' every time, especially in public loos, but I wash them pretty thoroughly, and also use hand cream. Cracked dry hands are more susceptible to damage and infection, and aren't nice.0 -
Two nuns in a bath.
The first one says "Where's the soap";
the second one replies "Yes it does, doesn't it"0 -
One scary point is that the superconducting magnet has over 1000 litres of liquid helium. If the magnet warms up because something goes wrong, that helium very rapidly gets boiled off. That's enough helium gas to displace all the air in the room several times over.
Even scarier is the prospect of having no more MRI when we run out of helium (which some people predict will be in ~50 years). At least helium used for getting stuff very cold is all collected and recycled, but why are we wasting it in balloons that allow it to escape into the atmosphere and from there to float to the top and off into space??lostinrates wrote: »Where becomes the point you are not? Can't be bothered with hand cream. Prefer a moisturising liquid soap so hands don't get cracked and dry without having to find the time to put cream on them.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0
