Slightly off but related topic, did the Sun do the £1 camping last year too? I must have missed it if they did as I don't remember seeing it. I went Two years ago I had a got both the caravan and £1 camping nicely stacked up back to back for two location in Isle of Wight. So we moved to a decent chalet in Thorness Bay after a fabulous weather £1 per-night camping in the opposite side of the Island. It was fabulous. Anyone else did similar?

Hi, does anyone have any tips of how to get a hol w/c 24 August? I was hoping for lake district, west coast of Scotland or Yorkshire? Are there any caravan park's that tend to have better availability than others?

As it was still a 2015 thread without the month in the title I preferred to add it to there rather than make a new one which could have got confusing:)

Yep,it's in the priority booklet and the pullout brochure from last Tuesdays Sun but not mentioned anywhere else.

I have the priority booklet - where does it say which european parks are tents? there used to be symbols when it was a proper booklet but now it is just a open out sheet and i can't see any symbols?

Also - are the school holidays spread out a bit more this year? Do most not go back until the 7th September?

I haven't got the priority booklet but in the pullout(from last Tuesdays Sun) which is normally the same ...
The symbols are all under the campsites names.
The symbol code is on Page 8

I don't know about other areas but my Grandchildren go back on the 2nd September

mine don't go back until the 8th but we seem to always have that first week of september off - as i have been booking that week through this offer ever since they started school..

but i have spoken to a few others family members from other parts of the country who also don't go back until the 7th..... so that week might be very popular this time...

oh well we can but hope...

i only have the open out leaflet that came with the priority codes - can you possibly let me know if site numbers 219 le soleil and site 220 la chapelle are tents or caravans?
