ahh - i had thought that might be the case as i can see on the eurocamp brochure that le soleil has lots of tents....

I am not sure if the sun booking lets you choose between tent or caravan or you just get what's available.... oh well le soleil is my first choice so i suppose i stick with it and see what happens...

It's all an adventure anyway doing these european ones with the kids..

thanks for letting me know - i will look in more detail now at the eurocamp website to see what the tents are like..

You don't get to choose what type of accommodation you get (unless the site offers you an upgrade at extra cost when they send your confirmation).

The tents are generally good quality and very spacious and should have a kitchenette with storage cupboards, power and lighting etc. It would be quite a different experience to, for example, camping in a tiny pop up tent in a cold soggy field in the Lake District!

Thanks - i know the tents are ok - we stayed in one last year but only few a few nights - i want to book a week in one place this time and not sure i can cope without a bathroom toilet for so long! Also i like to have someone where secure to put any valuables and this time we hope to be travelling car free - so i would like to have a caravan i can at least lock up...

I have just checked my dates on the eurocamp site and it looks they have no availability for tents on those dates - only caravans are coming up so hopefully that is a good sign...

Also - are the school holidays spread out a bit more this year? Do most not go back until the 7th September?

Hi everyone, I have been on sun holidays but I am quite new to this. I am in for the long haul tonight as I would like a summer holiday at popular park so I have all my fingers crossed (as it will be for my sons birthday! )

Hi, does anyone have any tips of how to get a hol w/c 24 August? I was hoping for lake district, west coast of Scotland or Yorkshire? Are there any caravan park's that tend to have better availability than others?

    thanks

if u want 24th on breakfreeholidays.co.uk/local then choose 31st and all parks with dates in the area u choose will show up and all park hoildays have 24th aug codes are water waves swim sand
  • When booking do they check your first date against all 4 parks then 2nd date or 1st park against all 4 dates??
