Just been onto the website for this and is says a NEW CLUE is going to be released in 24 hours :j lets hope we can work this one out between us:D (found info on win mini update 4)

comp ends 19th MAY 2008
( the date had been extended when they added extra t&c. you have to answer extra question if you are picked as winner)

Question was What do these clues refer to ?

1) A safe haven thats not quite neon
2) Don't be misled by what you have read
3) It's NOT fluorescent Park
4) Neon is an acronym, Near Earth Orbiting New..............

I'm sure we're going to have some fun trying to solve this one as their site didn't like the idea of a comp site winner GOOD LUCK ALL

by way i don't know how to get their proper site info on to here let one of you clever techies do it or i'd completely it mess up

Not earth or neon ? could be anything. They are naughty. They even promised a little gift for leaving reviews on the book which they never did so i don't believe anything they say. Prize is probably a corgi copy of an open top mini!

:eek: I've got a funny feeling that the mini car is the one they've been traveling around the country in during the book promotion with all the promotional lost planet stuff stuck all over on it :eek:
they don't mention it will be a brand new one do they? hope they've looked after it:rotfl:

Oh good - I entered with Flourescent Park before we were told it was wrong so I thought I wouldn't be allowed to enter again.

And yes the car is the one they've been driving around in....I don't mind tho - drive it my way !

went out and bought the book to see if I can suss this clue out
(it is a Really boring read so far this Writer has no idea how young people talk he uses words like you look fab you foxy lady:eek: got until 19th of May to solve this but its going to be tough going I think

The" Moon "is mentioned in the book wonder if that's it -or it might have something to do with one of main characters a girls name. She is called 'Aurora ' I finding book so boring to read though did anyone else read it maybe they have some ideas to help answer new clue that was posted on web site Near Earth Orbiting New ...........????????

It's offical, we now really will have to give away the mini.
We have now the first correct entry in our win a mini competition.
For all of you who have entered already. Please look at the clues once more.
all you need to do is look at the book and it should be an easy task to work out.
Some of you are also very close, but we can't give any more clues .......yet.
So check out all of the clues,look at the book and work out what's orbiting, oops
nearly gave you another clue!!

been back on their web site today and they've taken away previous info about having a correct entry to mini comp as mentioned in my post above I still haven't finished this boring book & have't found anything other than what i've already posted that might be the answer sorry:D

good news though they have a new post referring to their other comp sending in entries to "name the new planet comp " they had lots of entries which weren't that unique and they are looking for an original name so you may as well make up another name as there doesn't appear to be restrictions on the number of times you can enter on this comp remember if your over 16 you can take the prize as 10,000 in cash:j if you win:D
both comps finish noon 19th May I think Good luck all
Sorry to keep bumping this up but it's still in game over though won't finish for ages yet hope a mser wins this
