£400 more or £300 with cash back
It has an auto dose system which is suppose to automatically add the right type of detergent or softener from a 3 months supply container which can be filled up with your choices. Not sure if that in the long run will save money or a gimic?London, UK0 -
Our Zanussi has lasted 15 years so far with only one £80 repair to the drum.“Learn from the mistakes of others. You can never live long enough to make them all yourself.”

Hi
It is very simple - if you can possibly afford £700 plus on a washing machine then only buy Miele, if you purchase any other make around this price point then you are quite simply wrong and have been misinformed!
Miele washing machines are quite simply the 'benchmark' they are what all other machines are compared to.

Out of the 2 Miele's wich one should I go for the 8kg worth £1100 that has auto dose or £950 without the auto dose. Both are 8kg?London, UK0 -
Searched for reviews of Miele customer service and found this:

UK one seems a bit mixed!

Note: Just checked other manufacturers and they all get slated here tho!0 -
How important is auto dose to you? Its a clever idea and optimises detergent use. But it will take you a very long time to get your money back given how inexpensive detergent.
Get a Miele washing machine with a 10 year warranty and you are laughing. All other features are nice to haves but even without the frill Miele is a superb product that you will never regret buying. We’ve had to remove your signature. I would agree with choosing a Miele. Had mine for about 5 yrs now. I have a 10 yr warranty.
Excellent machine....never had any problems.0 -

Really not sure about going down from 9kg to 7kg though....
Only reason I am considering the 7kg is the free 10 year warranty however I can upgrade the warranty for another 5 years on any of the other 2 for £149...
Any suggestions please?London, UK0 -
Are you really going to be doing 9kg loads? Unless you bung everything into mixed loads, its a lot of clothes to wash at once.
I personally feel this mad race to increase load capacity is a pretty pointless. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
