Hi Guys
I came across this forum and thought I would ask for some advice.
I have recently received a ticket from Vinci Park through a company called ZZPS Ltd.
When I go on their website to pay the ticket it takes me to a PayPal page and there is a charge of £5.95 for making a payment.
Is this usual practice for these companies and where does this money go to? Does PayPal keep the money or are ZZPS keeping this as profit?

Hi Guys
I should have mentioned that I have no intention of paying the money but was just very surprised at the amount they charge to take a payment.
I am interested to find out whether the £5.95 stays with ZZPS or if PayPal take a cut of it. It just seemed an excessive sum for a 'card processing fee'.
I have done some research on ZZPS Online and it seems that they have a chequered history in the industry - or at least the director does0 -
paypal will take 4% + 20p0

Your kidding me!
So PayPal take £0.44p and ZZPS Take £5.51 per payment!!0 -
well you did,nt think they were honest did you?
edit :
paypal take 4% of the total , so paypal take £4 +20p
you can always do a chargeback tho , goods do not meet your expectations1 -
I thought Paypal took 3.4% plus 20p per transaction, (certainly on Ebay sales).0
-
sorry , I always just round it up to 4% and forget the odd 20p , easier on the brain on weird numbers
so that's £3.40 +20p , so zzps are stitching you and want reporting to paypal for lying about paypal charges0 -
So it is fair to say then that ZZPS are making a large profit out of processing fees.
I wonder whether Vinci are aware of just how much people are getting ripped off just for the pleasure of paying ZZPS.
I can feel an email coming on!
Has anybody got any contact details for Vinci senior managenent0 -
vinci are in on the fiddle , the collection mob (PCS DR+ ZZPS) etc charge the monkeys 15% , because they cant count and the law says they are banned from holding bank accounts
you have still a lot to learn , feeling sorry for vinci <spit>0
